Client Eligibility and Exclusions:

- In the first instance with Private Clients there are no children or clients under 25 years of age (except by special arrangement).
- There is no bulk billing or NDIS client service.
- To ensure total client confidentiality and reduced bureaucracy Medicare is not involved in this totally ‘private’ practice.
- The number of Private Clients is strictly limited.
Treatment Sessions and Correspondence:

- Professor Stevens’ Private Clients receive confidential 90-minute treatment sessions vs normal 50-minute interventions.
- All meetings and correspondence will be exclusively with the Professor.
- An initial personal telephone conversation with Prof. Stevens is offered free of charge so the client is able to fully appreciate the wide range of psychological perspectives and benefits available and delivered personally by him.
Session Structure:

- To become a Private Client and receive thorough initial diagnoses, the first 2 sessions will be of 2 hours each.
- These sessions will be invoiced and paid for in advance and delivered within a week of each other, if possible.
- After the initial sessions, subsequent sessions will be 90 minutes long and invoiced at the end of each session.
Areas of Experience:

- Important areas of experience include trauma identification and therapeutic treatment. So too panic attack identification and treatment. These are complex psychopathologies and are treated as such.
- Of course all mental health issues are important and require sensitive assessment to receive correct diagnoses, hence the reason for extended personalised sessions.
