I am a trained counsellor well versed in many psycho-therapies, commencing my career as a school psychologist/counsellor; but for years I counselled within corporate organisations on high level problem solving with senior executives. This also included many areas of psychometric assessment and frequently carrying out personal counselling.
Very simply, I am now semi-retired and hope my wealth of experience can be gainfully used by clients.
The private practice I now operate is significantly telehealth orientated and particularly focused on the most common psycho-pathologies including depression, anxiety and stress. However I am in a position to counsel in many other areas, particularly when this is helpful in gaining perspectives on underlying psychological problems. I do focus on single session and short-term (maximum 6 sessions) interventions; where appropriate.
It is in response to the COVID –19 pandemic that I offer telehealth services solely on a bulk-billing basis.
I provide a supplementary service to individual doctors and clinics who might already have a professional relationship with one or more psychologists. This will enable clinicians to offer more choice and control to their patients on Mental Health Plans.
My services are especially suited to individuals contemplating retirement or significant later-in-life changes, including work and personal upheavals as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
I would be pleased to discuss working relationships.
